We recommend cleaning our boots by spraying them with water, removing all dirt and debris from the hook and loop straps, and letting them air drying. We DO NOT recommend washing them with detergents.
Can you put horse boots in the washing machine?

How do you clean horse tendon boots?
When the dirt is really a lot, the ideal is to wash them in cold water (max 30 ° Celsius – 86° Fahrenheit ) with neutral soap. Soak them in a bucket for about 10 minutes and let the water dissolve the dirt. Then also pass a soft brush and a sponge. Let them dry well before putting back in the accessory box.
How do you clean professional choice boots?
We recommend the following for all Professional’s Choice Products: Hand wash and/or hose off the products with a pressure nozzle. If necessary, use a mild liquid soap to remove excess dirt and sweat. Woolite® or horse shampoo work well. Rinse the products well with cold water and allow them to air-dry.
Can you wash magnetic horse boots?
Ideally the magnetic boots are best washed by hand. However if you want to use a washing machine select a hand wash setting. Protect in a washbag and line dry. Always use mild detergent.
How do you clean an air boot?

Remove the liner from the frame and wash in warm water with a mild detergent. Allow to air dry completely before placing back in the frame. Do not place liner in washing machine or dryer as it may damage the inner air bladders. The frame of the boot may be cleaned with a damp cloth.
How do you clean sheepskin horse boots?
Both types of products can be cleaned in a washing machine using a clear, cold-water wash set on a strong machine action. But avoid combining the sheepskin hair in a load of wash with other items, as this could cause pilling, shedding or matting and the hair may lose its natural loose and fluffy integrity.
How are professional choice boots measured?
The only way to truly know the size you need for your horse is to measure around the fetlock and then pick the boot that has a circumference measurement that fits what you measured. Remember, all brands and all models use DIFFERENT sizing charts so be sure to measure and use the correct chart.
How do you clean brush boots?
Wool or fleece lined boots can be machine washed with cold water and hung dry as well. (Some wool-lined boots can even be put in the dryer, but check the manufacturer recommendations first!) Pro tip: Be sure to brush off as much excess dirt as possible first to spare your washing machine.
When should you put boots on a horse?
Protective boots are particularly important if your horse has big movement in his gaits, has sustained an injury, or if he interferes- meaning he has a propensity for one or more hooves to strike another leg during movement.
How do you measure a horse for sports boots?
